| Ok, so today i think i almost lost it. I called to see why my bridesmaid dresses were taking so long. Ok first let me explain. Two weeks ago i got a call telling me my bridesmaid dresses were in already, and well i was completely shocked. But anyways, instead of driving to charleston and picking them up, I called Davids Bridal and talked to some lady and asked for them to be sent here. Well anyways, so supposedly they should have been here last week, but they didnt get here. So i called today to check on them, and well the lady i talked to told me that my bridesmaids already picked them up, and i was like, uh no they didnt bc i had them shipped here. And so she checked again, and was like, well our system says you came and picked them up. So i was like uh no, and she kept asking me if i was sure i hadnt picked them up. I was ready to scream. I mean come on, what a stupid question. I would think i would remember driving to charleston and picking up dresses!! Plus if i had picked them up, why would i be calling and asking where they were!! Anyways, so then she says, oh well the reason they didnt get shipped is bc you gave us a PO address and we cant ship them to those. And i was like uh no i didnt. I dont even have a PO address, i gave the lady my home address. Anyways, after alot of frustration, and i really still dont know what happened, but, she told me they would ship them tommorrow. So yeah, im going to call tommorrow and make sure they actually do ship them this time. Everyone at work kept calling me brideszilla, but well, it was frustrating. Anyways, Its all good though now, as long as i get the dresses :D | | |
| Well not much exciting has happened lately. 2 weeks ago I went to ABC's Graduation and that was fun. After graduation me, Lyssa, Rich and Stevie went to chick filla and ate something and then Stevie had to leave on jubilate tour. So then us three went to the movies and well we watched a movie that we thought looked pretty good. Well it was a good movie, but it ended up being kind of a suspensful scary movie. Not like terror scary but well, i dont do well with scary movies. So like yeah me and Lysa were jumping out of ours chairs and screaming, but the good thing was their was only two other ppl watching the movie with us so we didnt get kicked out or anything like that :D. Well then, me and Lori went to Hilltop for Pastor Haynes grad party. I was sooo happy, i got to see alot of the church ppl and even some of my old cubbies, which was awesome!! Well yeah besides that, i've just been working like usual. Weve been working on wedding invitations, and well they're coming out awesome, i'm so excited!!!! I'm so glad we decided to do them ourselves instead of ordering them. That way they're more personal and they are exactly what I want. Well anyways, i think thats about all the news for now. | | |
| Well yesterday I finally got my bridesmaid dresses bought. YAY!!! I was so excited, we left after sunday school and met alyssa and rich in charleston. Rich stayed in the car and us girls went to davids bridal. I didn't really see all that many dresses that I liked but i found one that i loved and it looked great on all the girls which was awesome!!! They are periwinkle and just georgeous, so we got those ordered and they should be in within 3 to 4 mnths. Afterwards we walked over to Panera Bread and ate there, for my first time and it was awesome! My sandwich was really good and then I got a chai latte which was even better. So it was just a great day and definitely a good change from the normal schedule. And then this weekend i get to see my friends again bc me and Lori are going down to ABC for graduation. I'm excited and sad at the same time. Excited bc i get to see everyone and sad bc it could be the last time before i go to Ecuador. Which is really sad :C But anyways, so thats what I've been up to. And well of course my busy schedule of always, work and a ton of church activities. I think thats all the news for now. | | |
| Ok so today i went to work and i thought it was going to be a slow day and then well it ended up being like the busiest day ever!!! It was 80 degrees out so i guess the whole town decided to come in and get ice cream. So yeah we were all kind of getting mad and going crazy bc it was so non stop. But then finally, near the end we kind of really did go crazy and just started laughing non stop. Like seriouslly we were all acting like wackos and laughing at everything. Those who know me know how i act when i drink caffeine when i;m tired. Well thats how bad we were all acting :D. Anyways it was fun. Oh except like we had a little bathroom incident that was absolutely nasty. Guys bathroom of course. And then some guy took a cup of ice and threw it all over the mens bathroom. Then some other guy went in and almost slipped and broke his neck, but thankfully nothing happened. Some ppl r just so stupid. Need i say more. Oh yeah and I appreciate everyone that was praying for that guy that died in Ecuador. And now today I found out that Daniel's (my fiance) uncle passed away, so yeah another thing to pray about. Theres alot of unsaved family members, and the funerals tommorrow, so just pray that it would go well and that they could see some ppl maybe even get saved through this. Thats the fourth death this yr already and its only march. So ppl in the church down there r having a hard time so u can definitely pray for that and that they wouldn't let this get them down. | | |
| Well for some reason this week seems like it has been busier than ever. I've just been working from morning till night, and by the time i get home i am so pooped i don't want to do anything. But i get home, eat, do my online lessons and then usually watch a little tv and then to bed. And thats not even counting the extra things like church nights, and nursing home nights, and visiting grandparents night. Well anyways, you get the point. I'm so excited though, i get to go see chorale sing this Sunday!!! YAY!! Get to see Alyssa, Emily, Beca, Lynette, and all my other friends. | | |
